Jaylan Leon
The Derby-Shelton Rotary Club had a profound impact on Jaylan Leon when in high school in Connecticut. Jaylan carries the lessons that he learned through experiences with Rotary (attending RYLA, speaking at Rotary meetings) with him to this day. Jaylan is motivated to join the Rotary Club of Chicago to pay it forward.
“Living in a new city, in Chicago, I would like to leave an imprint on the community, and on youth particularly,” Jaylan says. “Experience has shown me that Rotary is the perfect platform to do just that. I am also motivated to join Rotary Club to further my own development.”
Jaylan recently graduated and is early in his career. For those reasons, he is eager to learn, hone his leadership skills, and develop long-standing relationships with Rotarians, who are pillars of the community. Click here to connect with Jaylan.
