The debut of ROTARY/One's new banner on May 18 with its first two recipients---our speaker, Danny Spungen, of the Spungen Family Foundation (far right) and a member of the Rotary Club of Lincolnshire, Illinois, and Sam Harris, a Holocaust survivor and President of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and a member of the Rotary club of Northbrook, Illinois (second from left). We are joined by incoming District Governor for District 6450 and Past President of ROTARY/One Robb Knuepfer. Many thanks to Danny and Sam for a great presentation about the museum and the collection of letters, postcards, fake money, etc. which the Spungen Family Foundation has accumulated for educational purposes.
In addition, the club has received its order for new lapel pins. These are commemorative pins as seen in the masthead of the website.
