Merit School of Music is hosting a wonderful benefit at City Winery on June 24th featuring eleven year old Mae Ya Carter Ryan, whose powerful singing has been described as that of a young Mahalia Jackson.  The event will include the Three Ellas: Dee Alexander, Spider Saloff, and Freida Lee singing selections from the Great American song book as sung by Ella Fitzgerald.  Merit School will receive 100% of ticket sales from the benefit.  We don’t need to tell you what great use those funds will be put to; everyone who attended our evening event at Merit was blown away by what an outstanding and vital program it is.  Feel free to circulate the invitation to anyone you think might be interested.
ROTARY/One has a table - please email rsvp@rotaryone.net to reserve a seat.
